Info as displayed on the thing :Vogue Hommes was a monthly men's magazine that covered fashion, design, art, culture, sports and technology. The first issue was launched in 1976. The editor was Gerald Asaria. In 1987, the magazine had a sports version (Vogue Hommes Sport) which was not successful, unlike the international fashion specials which were published until 2014. The economic crisis of the years 1992-1993 eventually led to the cessation of publication of the monthly magazine due to a significant drop in advertising revenue. The last monthly issue of this series was published February 1996. Apart from the monthly issue there also was a special edition named "Vogue Hommes International" that was published twice a year since 1985. That magazine was still published after 1996 (two issues per year) and contained translations of its articles in English. In 1999, Richard Buckley became the editor in chief. Bruno Danto is appointed deputy editor and he held the helm of editor in chief from 2005 to 2006. Since 2006 Olivier Lalanne has been its editor in chief. In 2008, the Japanese version of the magazine was launched. In 2014, the magazine renamed itself Vogue Hommes. The last issue was published September 2021.
