Georges Léonnec (born Georges Paul Gaston Léonnec September 30th 1881 in Brest, France – died october 15th 1940, France (aged 59)) was a French illustrator.
He began his career as an illustrator selling drawings to newspapers in 1899. After participating in World War I he worked as an illustrator worked as an artist/illustrator for such magazines as Le Rire, Le Sourire, La Vie Parisienne and L'Illustration, since 1899. He also illustrated advertisements for companies like Renault, Daimler and Byrrh, and designed the Casino de Paris and Folies-Bergère.
He worked for several other publications including Fantasio and Le Sourire.
He was also well known for his advertising illustrations for Byrrh apéritif wine, Grands Magasins Dufayel, and the Casino of Paris.
He is the brother of the novelist Félix Léonnec.
